Long term southside local and activist, Julie-Ann Campbell, is Labor’s new candidate for Moreton in the upcoming federal election, scheduled for 2025. Julie-Anne replaces Graham Perrett, who has represented Moreton since 2007.
Graham has endorsed Julie-Ann as the new Labor candidate for Moreton.
“Julie-Ann understands the positive impact that the Albanese Labor Government’s cost of living measures are having throughout Moreton, including: tax cuts for every Australian; electricity rebates; cheaper medicines; fee-free TAFE; and expanded paid parental leave’, he said.
“I have known Julie-Ann for over a decade, and I’ve seen up close the commitment and dedication she brings to her profession and volunteer work. Julie-Ann has been a lawyer representing workers in the manufacturing industry and has also worked in professional services. She has also worked on many Moreton election campaigns over the years”.
Julie-Ann lives in Corinda with her young daughter and partner, Mark. She is deeply proud of her Chinese heritage, and loves being a part of the most multicultural community in Queensland.
She has represented manufacturing workers as a lawyer, worked in professional services, and was the first woman to be State Secretary and Campaign Director of Labor in Queensland.
Her priorities will be fighting for and delivering real cost of living relief for Brisbane Southsiders as a part of a re-elected Albanese Labor Government.
Annerley Labor is proud to support Julie-Ann in her campaign.
